Much better

My knee felt better this morning and on the bike this afternoon I was able to complete my scheduled training without any problem. I iced my knee anyway as a precaution. I think one of the things that helped it out was taking a few extra Tissue Rejuvenator capsules from Hammer Nutrition. http://www.e-caps.com/za/ECP?PAGE=PRODUCT&PROD.ID=4057#info1

From their website:
Benefits:
Reduce pain, inflammation, and swelling
Increase joint integrity and mobility
Allow decreased NSAID use
Promote more rapid healing and return to normal training post-injury
Extra Benefits: Tumeric, one of the components in Tissue Rejuvenator, in addition to being a powerful anti-inflammatory, is also a well-known antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic agent.

I ran across this article on another blog about an endurance racer from Slovenia that makes most of the rest of us look normal. I found it a facinating insight into not only the individual but athletic endurance in general. http://www.nytimes.com/2006/02/05/sports/playmagazine/05robicpm.html?pagewanted=1&ei=5070&en=43ea654b7a294d89&ex=1142571600
